The basics of hold'em poker

After the first amounts it out on the table the action finally begins and the dealer deals two cards to each of the players. The cards are recognized with the phrase "hole cards". The following move is the dealer's, after the bets are set he then take out the first hidden card, the one at the top of the card deck, this move make certain that no one can take advantage of the cards.

The next move is again the dealer's move – the present three cards which are put in the center of the table. This is the joint card 'bank' of all the players. These three cards with the two more that the players hold are a complete hand (meaning they total up to five cards). As the game continue the dealer reveals two more cards and the 'bank of cards' equals five cards which any player can use in order to sort a five card hand as he decides. This is the main appealing of the Texas Hold'em poker – the variety of the cards, the potential of multi hands vs. the single hand in the regular poker games.
